As a Lead UI Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the visual and interactive aspects of our projects. We're seeking an energetic and positive individual who brings enthusiasm to the team. 

Responsibilities:

In this senior role, you'll collaborate closely with the design team and decision-makers to craft high-fidelity, interactive, and visually compelling prototypes. Your role extends beyond design, as you'll be instrumental in maintaining and improving our design systems in Figma. Timely project delivery is imperative, and your passion for thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment will be paramount.

Further responsibilities within the role:

• Work collaboratively with internal, customer, and third-party stakeholders and decision-makers on the execution of design and experience.

• Conduct user and market research and identify patterns based on data trends, market, technology capabilities, and target audience demographics.

• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.

• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites and apps function and look.

• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders (low-fidelity wireframes).

• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.

• Package the design deliverables for designs, style guides, and assets in a very organised manner.

What we are looking for:

We're seeking a dynamic individual with vibrant and positive energy. Proficiency in UI design is essential, and a solid grasp of UX principles is crucial, although the role leans towards a UI focus. Experience in utilising design systems is a must, and we're particularly interested in how you maintain cleanliness and organisation in your Figma files. Outstanding communication skills are paramount; we value a professional, clear, and impressive communication style.

To excel as a Lead UI Designer at Snowfall, you should possess:

• Proven experience translating ideas into exceptional designs

• An impressive portfolio showcasing outstanding UI design skills.

• Proficiency in creating beautifully animated prototypes using Figma

• Current knowledge of design trends for both iOS and Android applications

• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including external clients, senior management, and developers

• Excellent time management skills, delivering high-quality work efficiently

• Expertise in maintaining organised and clean Figma files and design systems

• Native mobile experience is highly desirable.

• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g., FIGMA, Wireframe.cc, Sketch, InVision, etc.)
