Travel Fulfillment Specialist
Responsibilites:
- Ticketing Operations: Process ticket reservations, bookings, cancellations, and modifications for both leisure and corporate travel clients.
- Flight Reservations: Utilise GDS systems (such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport) to search for flight availability, schedule flights, issue tickets, and manage seat assignments.
- Ferry Ticketing: Facilitate ticket reservations and bookings for ferry travel, ensuring accurate information regarding routes, schedules, and fares.
- Hotel Reservations: Collaborate with clients to secure hotel accommodations, providing options based on their preferences, budget, and travel requirements.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, addressing ticket-related issues, and resolving conflicts or complaints.
- Fare Calculation: Calculate and quote fares accurately, considering various factors such as destination, class, seasonality, and applicable discounts or promotions.
- Documentation Management: Maintain detailed and organized records of bookings, ticket transactions, itineraries, and client preferences using internal systems and software.
- Collaborative Communication: Coordinate effectively with airlines, ferry operators, hotels, and other service providers to ensure seamless travel arrangements for clients.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, airline policies, fare rules, travel regulations, and emerging technologies to provide up-to-date information and advice to clients.
- Sales Support: Assist the sales team by providing information on available travel products, suggesting suitable options, and cross-selling additional services or upgrades.
What we're looking for:
- Previous Experience: Proven experience as a Ticketing Agent or similar role within the travel industry, in leisure and corporate travel bookings.
- GDS Proficiency: Basic working knowledge of Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport, including flight availability searches, ticket issuance, and seat assignments.
- Liknoss Systems: Familiarity with Liknoss systems or other relevant platforms for ferry ticketing and reservations would be advantageous.
- Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach to provide exceptional service and resolve customer issues effectively.
- Organizational Abilities: Exceptional attention to detail, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to handle complex ticketing scenarios, including rebooking, cancellations, and fare calculations.
- Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well within a team, sharing knowledge, assisting colleagues, and maintaining a positive work environment.d
