Travel Operations Manager - North America
Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that our travel agents, customers, and partners have a seamless experience while accessing and booking travel services through the Junction platform.
Responsibilities:
System Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the Sabre GDS, ensuring optimal performance, system updates, and troubleshooting technical issues.
Developer Support: Act as a subject matter expert on the delivery and technical requirements around fulfilling PNR’s through the GDS. You will also collaborate with the development and product teams to help inform build out of online booking tool modules as they related to GDS matters.
Training and Support: Provide training and support on effective usage of the Junction platform, including its advanced features and functionalities.
Integration and Customization: Collaborate with our development team to integrate the Sabre GDS into our systems, tailor the platform to our specific business needs, and develop custom solutions as required.
Data Analysis: Utilize data and analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in platform usage, and implement strategies to improve efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction.
Partner Relationship: Maintain strong relationships with partners and vendors, staying updated on industry trends and advancements to ensure we're at the forefront of technological innovation.
PCC Administration: Perform manager level duties within our native PCC to include EPR creation/maintenance, updating our HIC table and other managerial duties as needed.
Travel Fulfillment: Execute travel transactions through Sabre and provide assistance to travelers by amending PNR’s and performing various fulfillment related duties.
What we’re looking for:
5+ years of Sabre GDS expertise in a TMC environment essential
Experience with implementation and utilization of online booking tools at the TMC level
Ability to perform complex tasks within the GDS, manage booking flows, profile system, EPR credentials and liaise with the Sabre support team as needed
Understanding of OBT application technology a plus
Experience with ARC reconciliation procedures beneficial
