About the role:
Working within our legal team you will be supporting the business on a wide range of legal and commercial issues. Due to our size and continued growth, this role will position you to play an integral part in our legal operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, software licences, NDAs, and service-level agreements
Advising on intellectual property matters, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
Assisting with regulatory compliance matters, including data protection and privacy law.
Providing legal support to other areas of the business as needed.
Assisting in the provision of legal and professional support on a range of legal matters when required including but not limited to corporate, privacy, and employment-related matters.
Liaising with external legal counsel as required.
Managing the execution and filing of documents.
Assisting the legal team by providing high-quality legal administrative support.
Supporting a collaborative and proactive relationship with other teams within the business.
What we are looking for:
Minimum 2 years PQE
Qualification to practice as a Solicitor or Barrister in England & Wales (SQE/LPC qualified)
Experience drafting legal documents (contracts / corporate documents)
Experience in the review and negotiation of contracts.
Excellent time management and planning skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A go-getter with a positive attitude.
The ideal candidate would come from a commercial or IP background, however, if you have relevant experience and a great disposition then we would love to talk with you too.
