Your role as an Events and Marketing Assistant:
Events and Marketing Assistant to join our fast-paced, dynamic, and fun marketing team. This is an ideal role for a graduate who is looking to start their career within events and marketing, working for a high-growth, product driven, travel-tech company. Working in a truly autonomous and diverse role, gaining vast experience in a broad range of marketing techniques in both online and offline channels in a B2B environment.
You will support the marketing function, championing the Snowfall brand, ensuring all communication internally and externally reflects our Branding Toolkit and is in line with our strategic marketing goals.
This role will have a lot of focus in assisting with the organising and attending international events, such as conferences, festivals, seminars, and awards. You will help provide administrative support with all events.
To give you an idea of how this events and marketing role would look and feel, here are some of the things you can expect to do:
- Provide administration support for events, conferences, and awards.
- To attend events as required, and to assist the events manager with the arrangements that will ensure the event runs smoothly from start to finish.
- Liaising with exhibitors, delegates, and speakers prior to events
- Assist with the management of social media activity across LinkedIn, Twitter & Facebook. Creating organic content in line with our marketing and branding strategies as well as optimising these campaigns and analysing their effectiveness.
- Updating & managing website content
- Working with the marketing and sales teams to ensure marketing material is up to date
- Liaising with the marketing team to produce compelling copy and content for all channels and campaigns
- Assisting with the design concept of promotional materials & proof-reading
- Establishing relationships and fulfilling marketing agreements with industry-specific media and association partners
Skills the successful Events and Marketing Assistant will have:
- Ideally educated to degree level within Marketing and Events.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience using Adobe InDesign, Canva or similar is beneficial
- Excellent planning and organisation skills with a methodical approach and attention to detail.
- Ability to work calmly under time constraints and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
- Works effectively both independently and as a part of a team.
- Delivers outstanding service to clients and colleagues.
